The Herskowitz Society

The Herskowitz Society forms the foundation of the Greater MetroWest Day School Campaign, one of the leading initiatives in North America to build significant endowments for affordability and excellence in Jewish day school education. The Society recognizes donors making commitments of $100,000 or more to a Jewish day school endowment fund within our community.

The Herskowitz Society is named after family members of Paula and Jerry Gottesman, who envisioned and continue to lead and provide transformational support for our community’s groundbreaking initiatives in day school education. The Herskowitz Society recalls the memory of Sadie Herskowitz Gottesman and Abraham S. and Molly Herskowitz, the mother and maternal grandparents of Jerry Gottesman. The Society represents the legacy of the Herskowitz family’s firm commitment to the continuity of the Jewish people.
