Mitzvah of the Moment: Diaper Drive

The Great Big Diaper Drive is on! National Diaper Needs Awareness Week is September 24 – October 2.

1 in 3 families in the U.S. cannot afford diapers and are forced to make an impossible choice every day – buy food or keep their children clean and healthy.  Join Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest and the Community Food Bank of NJ for the Great Big Diaper Drive.

Together, we can make an impact on the lives of those in need.

Making a difference really is as easy as 1… 2… 3

  1. Purchase or donate unused baby products (must be new and in original packaging):
    • Diapers — All sizes, newborn through pullups. Large sizes (4, 5, & 6) and adult diapers are especially needed.
    • Baby Wipes
    • Diaper Cream
  2. Drop off your donations between September 28 – October 2 at a location convenient to you in one of the following towns*:
    • Millburn/Short Hills
    • South Orange/Maplewood
    • Randolph/Morristown
    • Summit
    • Livingston
    • Westfield
    • Caldwell*Specific addresses and instructions will be shared following registration.
  3. Spread the word! Post a photo of your donations or your family delivering your donations on the Center for Volunteerism Facebook page with the hashtags #GreatBigDiaperDrive and #IamGMW
