Temple Sinai is excited to welcome a new member to our Religious School team!

We are seeking a part-time Religious School Administrator to facilitate RS operations and support our vibrant and growing school community. The Religious School Administrator assists and works closely with the Director of Congregational Learning and is an integral member of Temple Sinai’s dynamic, kind, and collaborative staff team. An ideal candidate is personable, dedicated, able to operate with discretion and attention to detail, collaborative and proactive, and passionate about contributing to a thriving Jewish community.

About you:
—You have 1-3 years of office experience, ideally in the nonprofit/Jewish professional world.
—You are enthusiastic about being part of a high functioning and collaborative team, while being able to operate independently.
—Facility with Google Drive is required. Experience in ShulCloud, Constant Contact, Canva, or other graphic design is a plus.
—You possess the organizational and computer skills required to effectively engage with fellow staff, congregants, and vendors using various modes of communication
—You are able to manage various tasks simultaneously

What you will do:
—Serve as a first point of contact, both on the phone and in person, for students, parents, and teachers.
—Responsible for maintaining and updating our student database on ShulCloud, Constant Contact, and Google Drive.
—Facilitate weekly e-newsletters and other communications, maintain a digital presence on the website.
—Provide administrative support for programming, including creating registration forms and Zoom links, ordering food and supplies, and other related duties as assigned.

This is an in-person position that reports to the Director of Congregational Learning.

Compensation: $28,000 per year.

Hours: 20 hours per week

Schedule when Religious School is in session (25 weeks per year)
—Sundays 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
—Weekdays: 14.5 hours to be divided between three weekdays (to be determined in partnership with Director of Congregational Learning)

Schedule when Religious School is not in session, hours to be divided between weekdays (to be determined in partnership with Director of Congregational Learning)
