Join Our Dynamic Team as a Middle School Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher!

Position Overview: Golda Och Academy (GOA) is excited to welcome a passionate and dedicated educator to our vibrant community! We are currently accepting applications for a Middle School Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. This unique position involves teaching both 6th Grade Language Arts/Social Studies and 7th Grade Language Arts.

Responsibilities:

As part of our dynamic team, you’ll inspire middle school students and engage them in a rich, comprehensive curriculum.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in Language Arts and Social Studies for 6th-grade students.
  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in Language Arts for 7th-grade students.
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Integrating technology to enhance learning experiences.
  • Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative school culture.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
  • M.A. and/or certification preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency, or work VISA in the United States is required.
  • Ability to work with students in various group settings using multiple teaching methods.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to meaningful collaboration with colleagues.
