Ladies Night Group Leader

Ladies Night Group Leader – Part Time (Monday Evenings, 6:15pm to 8:15pm)

The Special Needs Department at JCC MetroWest in West Orange, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Group Leader for its weekly Ladies Night Program. The Ladies Night Group Leader (the “Group Leader”) will lead a group of 12 ladies in discussion and activities about independent living, social skills, dating, hygiene, etc. while engaging in various activities such as art, fitness and cooking, etc. The Group Leader must have experience working with individuals with disabilities and be able to facilitate an engaging group discussion where everyone has an opportunity to participate. The Group Leader will take attendance and ensure each participant is engaged throughout the hour and a half activity. The Group Leader will work with an assistant each week to provide a fun and engaging activity where participants can develop friendships.

$20-25 per hour depending on experience.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Must have group facilitation experience.
