Congregation Beth El, a progressive and inclusive Conservative synagogue in South Orange, New Jersey, is looking for dynamic, warm, and creative Jewish educators for our innovative Jewish Learning Center beginning in the Fall of 2022. Our school emphasizes a compassionate approach to instruction using social, emotional, and spiritual learning guideposts. We have openings in a number of grades including Hebrew learning specialists in both one and two-day positions.

Our classes take place on Sundays from 9:00am-12:00pm, Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45– 6:00pm. Teachers should have experience leading Tefillah, teaching Hebrew, and proficient knowledge and ability to teach mitzvot, Torah, history, and holidays using experiential and engaging classroom techniques. Teachers must be proficient in using technology.
