Fighting the Demonization of the Israel Defense Forces
Veterans of the Israel Defense Forces, with first hand knowledge of the efforts taken to limit civilian casualties, is fighting the lies told about the IDF. They formed “My Truth” a grass roots organization of veterans that counter the false accusations of IDF mistreatment of Palestinians. Avihai Shorshan, the founder, will explain the dilemmas of IDF ethical codes implemented to avoid civilian casualties while fighting terrorists who are without morals. Avihai and “My Truth” have spoken at the UN Human Rights Council, the European Union and in the Parliaments of Sweden and the UK.
Avihai will share his experiences with our community Sunday March 8th at 2PM at Temple Beth O’r Beth Torah, 111 Valley Rd, Clark NJ.
